Help Us Grow
Since it started in 2001, the 6-acre Garden has
been maintained and operated entirely by volunteer
Master Gardeners,
primarily from the Dakota County group of Master Gardeners. These
Master Gardeners donate their valuable time and skills to a variety
of tasks, from starting seeds to giving Garden tours to conducting
University research. The Garden depends on the loyal support of
these hard-working volunteers.
As well as the hard-work of volunteers, the
Garden thrives on community support. There are many ways YOU can get involved!
With the continued support of the community, the Garden will become
even more useful for education and inspiration. Your gifts may
go to support exciting future projects like the Water Garden (Spring
2005), the Landscape Design Display Area (Spring 2005), and the
Forest ID Trail (2006).
