Butterfly Garden

The Butterfly Garden was created to show the home gardener how to transform parts of their yard into a beautiful landscape that acts as a butterfly sanctuary.

The garden is backyard-sized to help interested gardeners imagine it in their own yard.

Native plants, common hybrids, small trees, shrubs and vines create a structured landscape that provides shelter and food for butterflies and a pleasant environment for the homeowner. The emphasis on perennial plants help create a low maintenance garden while groupings of annuals provide continuous bloom and color. The water bog adds interest to the garden and provides a place for the butterflies to "puddle" and drink.
